I am passionate about art, drama and science and my educational consultancy work falls into 2 categories: 1) I work with groups of primary age children on creative art projects. Links can be made with science and also with drama. Activities can be created for small groups, classes/year groups and even whole school projects. Each bespoke art project can be planned in collaboration with the school to fit the needs of the children. The art work I create with the children follows the 'art journey' and includes: experimenting with the media; engaging in dialogue about the art; drawing, researching; designing; making; and exhibiting and evaluating. Children develop new skills during the process and value the original art work they create. 2) I also deliver CPD to primary school teachers and ITE trainee-teachers in higher education exploring the links between art and science and drama.
