Sarah Pimenta
Social Fabric
Sarah Pimenta is an experienced participatory artist, illustrator and creative facilitator and has worked in education for over twenty five years; she has worked in over 250 primary and secondary schools nationally and two in Africa.
Sarah is known as ‘Social Fabric’ and is highly experienced at leading, coordinating and delivering inclusive, high-quality participatory art/textile workshops which result in narrative textile pieces which tell a story – printing a social fabric. Sarah has worked with groups in collaboration with Schools, Museums, Theatres and Galleries – she also delivers workshops and CPD’s for adults.
She has also illustrated ‘The Therapeutic Fairy Tale series’ for children's well being (pictured) and co-written a learning manual for education; ‘Rewilding Children’s Imaginations, 99 creative Activities Inspired by Nature and Folktales from Around the World’ published by Taylor Routledge which can also be delivered as workshop sessions.
